Le ministre de l’Intérieur Claude Guéant annonce, dans une interview publiée dimanche, dans La Voix du Nord, qu’il va «redemander» la fermeture du site Internet de fichage des policiers, Copwatch, car «un site qui incite à la haine à l’égard des policiers est inacceptable».
Bloqué en octobre 2011 après un référé du ministre de l’Intérieur, le site, qui revendique une lutte «par l’information contre les violences policières», a été réactivé mardi, suscitant des réactions syndicales policières «indignées».
Pour Claude Guéant, «il est extrêmement grave de mettre cause la sécurité de policiers et de leurs familles au motif de dénonciations dont on ne sait pas sur quoi elles reposent». Le ministre ajoute que «pour veiller à la déontologie policière, il y a la justice, la hiérarchie, la commission nationale de déontologie de la police». «Un site qui incite à la haine à l’égard des policiers est inacceptable», conclut Guéant.
